Bottle Man 2019 My protest against the affect economics and money on my ay to day life. I realized that economics affect me and my environment directly. In order to encourage the recycling of bottles, whoever returns them to the supermarket gets a small amount of money. As a result, many people find themselves rummaging through trash and searching for bottles in order to collect that small amount of money. I built a man made of bottles, I placed him rummaging through a trash can, early in the morning in one of the main streets of Jerusalem. I placed a camera and documented the reactions of passers-by. In photos and video. The next day I discovered photos and references to the work on various Instagram and Facebook groups pages. I was interested in the discussions and the comments on social media, and how people chose to respond to each other.
